Taking the time to choose a suitable location and ensure the right electrical setup will make delivery and assembly simple, safe, and stress‑free. Stable, level base: Concrete, paving, or reinforced decking that can safely support 240kg plus water weight.
Access: Ensure clear delivery route and enough space for installation and future servicing.
Outdoor placement: Choose a location with good drainage and protection from heavy rain.
Ventilation: Allow airflow around the chiller unit for efficient operation
Electrical Requirements
Connection: Requires a dedicated 13A UK socket for the chiller unit.
Safety:
Socket must be weatherproof (IP rated) and RCD protected if outdoors.
Installation:
Position the socket within safe reach of the chiller, avoiding extension leads.
Professional check:
While plug-and-play, we recommend an electrician confirm outdoor sockets meet safety standards.
Water Supply & Drainage
